How to Change your HP Photosmart B8553 Ink Cartridges Refill

  1. Connect your HP Photosmart Pro B8553 printer to a working power supply and press the Power button if it’s not turned on yet.
  2. Open the machine’s Ink Cartridge Access Door, and wait as the carriage take its position in the printer’s center for cartridge replacement before you proceed.
  3. Identify the empty cartridge that requires replacement then press the tab in front to unlatch it from the carriage and gently remove it from the slot.
  4. Unpack the new HP B8553 Ink Cartridge from its package by pulling out the plastic taping, then remove the orange cap beneath the device by twisting it counterclockwise until it wears off.
  5. With the nozzles faced downward, insert the new cartridge into the available slot, then push the device until it locks firmly into position.
  6. Repeat the steps with the other color HP B8553 Ink Cartridges before closing the printer’s Cartridge Access Door to complete the installation.
