How to Change your Epson Workforce 545 Ink Cartridges Refill

  1. Turn on the Epson Workforce 545 printer by connecting it to an appropriate power supply and pressing the Power button.
  2. Wait for the printer’s LCD screen to specify which cartridge needs replacement.
  3. Lift up the printer’s scanning unit, then open the ink cartridge compartment cover.
  4. Squeeze the tab on top of the ink cartridge, then lift it up and away from the printer. Get rid of the used ink cartridge properly as recommended.
  5. Gently shake the new Epson 545 ink cartridge for a few minutes before removing it from the wrapper.
  6. Carefully unpack the new ink cartridge without touching the green chip on it, then remove the yellow tape situated at the ink cartridge’s bottom.
  7. Press the new Epson 545 ink cartridge down into the holder until it snaps into place.
  8. Close the ink cartridge compartment cover, then lower the machine’s unit into its proper position to finish the installation.
