How to Change your Canon PIXMA MG6120 Ink Cartridges Refill

  1. Make sure the Canon MG6120 printer’s power is switched on by pressing the Power button.
  2. Open the printer’s Paper Output Tray by pressing the release button, then lift the machine’s Scanning Unit until it’s opened completely.
  3. Push the tab in front of the used ink cartridge and pull out the device from the slot. Keep your hands off the Print Head Lock Lever to avoid ink residue from staining your fingers.
  4. Prepare the new Canon MG6120 ink replacement cartridge by unpacking it, peeling off its protective tape, and twisting off its protective cover.
  5. Install the new Ink Cartridge into the vacant slot and make sure it is firmly seated. Make sure the cartridge’s position matches the label. Also, make sure the ink lamp lights are lit red.
  6. Gently close the printer’s Scanning Unit to finish the installation.
