How to Change your Brother MFC L9550CDW Toner Cartridges Refill

  1. When replacing a Brother L9550CDW Toner cartridge, begin by switching the printer's power on by pressing the Power button.
  2. Open the L9550CDW printer front cover by lifting it until maintains the open position.
  3. Hold the drum unit's colored handle and pull it as far as you can to separate it from the machine.
  4. Clasp the old toner cartridge's handle, press it to the printer, and then pull it away from the drum unit.
  5. Slide the drum unit's blue tab sideways several times before returning it to its original position. This helps clean the corona wire.
  6. Get the new Brother l9550CDW toner cartridge from its wrapper and peel off the protective cover.
  7. Put the new toner cartridge into its proper slot over the drum unit. Pull it until it clicks into position.
  8. Press the drum unit into the machine until it clicks, then close the printer's front cover to complete the installation.
