How to Change your Brother MFC J6920DW Ink Cartridges Refill

  1. Turn on your Brother MFC J6920DW Ink printer by connecting the power cord to a working power supply and pressing the Power Button.
  2. Open the cartridge cover of your printer, then check the LCD screen to determine which cartridge color needs replacement.
  3. Push the empty cartridge’s lock release lever to release the empty cartridge and pull it off the carriage while holding it at the sides.
  4. Get the new Brother MFC J6920DW Ink cartridge and unpack it, then get rid of the cartridge’s protective yellow cap.
  5. Carefully Insert the ink cartridge into its designated color slot in line with the label’s arrow then gently push the ink cartridge into the slot until you hear it click into position. Repeat steps 4-5 with the other Brother ink cartridges.
  6. Pull the lock release lever up and close the cartridge cover.
