How to Change your Brother MFC J680DW Ink Cartridges Refill

  1. Make sure your Brother MFC J680DW printer is turned on by pressing the Power Button.
  2. Open your Brother MFC J680DW printer’s cartridge cover by pulling it down, then check the LCD screen to determine which cartridge color is empty.
  3. Push the empty cartridge’s lever down to free the device, then gently take it out with your hands.
  4. Take the new Brother MFC J680DW Ink cartridge package, open it, then grab the device.
  5. Remove the ink cartridge’s yellow protective cap by turning it counter-clockwise until it wears off. Avoid accidentally touching the contact sites.
  6. Carefully push the ink cartridge into the printer’s slot until it is locked into place.
  7. Repeat the same installation procedure with the other Brother ink cartridges you replace.
  8. Lift the Brother printer cartridge cover to close it.
