How to Change your Brother MFC J6520DW Ink Cartridges Refill

  1. Make sure that your Brother MFC J6520DW printer is turned on.
  2. Lift to open the ink cartridge cover. Check the printer’s LCD to see which ink cartridges have run out of ink.
  3. Press the lock release lever to separate the cartridge specified on the printer’s display. Remove the empty Brother MFC J6520DW Ink cartridge from the printer.
  4. Unpack your new ink cartridge color specified on the printer’s LCD and prepare it for installation.
  5. Turn the orange protective cap’s release lever counterclockwise until you hear the click, and the vacuum seal is released. Remove the orange protective cap afterward.
  6. Put the ink cartridge in line with the arrow over the label since every color has its proper position.
  7. Carefully push behind the ink cartridge that says “PUSH” until it locks into place. Close the ink cartridge cover afterward.
  8. Check if the color of the new Brother MFC-j6520DW compatible ink corresponds with the instructions on the printer’s display- it should reset the ink dot counter.
