How to Change your Brother MFC J650DW Ink Cartridges Refill

  1. Make sure your Brother J650DW printer’s power is turned on as required while replacing ink cartridges.
  2. Open the machine's ink cartridge cover by carefully lifting it and locate the empty cartridge colors indicated by the LCD screen.
  3. Please press down the lock release lever in front of the cartridges to release the empty devices and remove them carefully from the carriage.
  4. Unpack the new ink cartridge, locate the green release lever over the orange protective cap, and twist it counterclockwise until the vacuum seal is released. Remove the orange protective cap entirely.
  5. Align the new cartridge to its designated slot by matching its color with the carriage's sticker color. Make sure the cartridge's chip is facing the backside of the carriage.
  6. Carefully push the ink cartridge down until the cartridge lever is lifted, and the device is locked firmly into place.
  7. Follow the same steps when installing the other Brother MFC J650DW Compatible Ink Cartridge Colors.
  8. Close the ink cartridge panel once the ink cartridge installation is finished.
