How to Change your Brother 8150DN Toner Ink Cartridges Refill

  1. Open the printer’s front cover by pressing the front cover release button.
  2. Pull out the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly and set it on a flat and clean surface with a paper underneath to avoid accidental spills.
  3. Push the green lock lever down and remove the toner cartridge from the drum unit. Get the new Brother 8150DN Toner Cartridge from its package.
  4. Grasp the new Brother 8150DN Toner Cartridge at the sides then slowly shake it sideways multiple times to distribute the toner inside.
  5. Remove the new toner cartridge’s protective covering, then insert it into the drum unit. Make sure it locks securely into place – the green lock lever will lift automatically if you’ve put it correctly.
  6. Clean the drum unit’s corona wire by slowly sliding the green tab multiple times. Insert the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly back into the printer, then close the front cover.
