How to Change your Canon PIXMA MG8220 Ink Cartridges Refill

  1. Turn the Canon PIXMA MG8220 printer on by pressing the Power button, then gently open the Paper Output Tray.
  2. Lift the Scanning Unit open and wait till the printhead holder transfers to the replacement position before you continue.
  3. Push the empty cartridge’s tab to unlatch it from the carriage, then remove it from the printer.
  4. Get the new Canon MG8220 Ink Cartridge and remove it from the package.
  5. Peel off the new cartridge’s orange tape and twist its protective tap until it snaps off.
  6. Put the new cartridge into the available slot and gently push until it clicks into place.
  7. Close the machine’s scanning unit cover to finish the installation.
