How to Change your Brother HL-3150CDN Toner Cartridges Refill
- Make sure the Brother 3150CDN printer is turned on. If it isn't, make sure it is plugged to a working power supply and press the Power button.
- Open the printer by lifting its top part. You don’t need to unlock any catches, so it’s easy to open.
- Get the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly for the color indicated by the machine’s display. Lay the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly on a flat, clean surface with the green tabs faced upward.
- Push the green lock lever down and grab the toner cartridge from the drum unit.
- Get the new Brother 3150CDN toner cartridge after unpacking it, then hold the device on the level with both hands and carefully shake it sideways to distribute the toner evenly.
- Pull away the cartridge’s protective cover, then insert the drum unit with the new toner cartridge into the carriage.
- Clean the drum unit’s corona wire by carefully sliding the green tab sideways several times.
- Reinsert the drum unit and toner cartridge assembly into the printer.
- To maintain neat print quality, clean the corona wire of the other color cartridge’s drum unit.
- Close the machine’s top cover to finish the installation.
