"Judging the features of the Epson Stylus NX400, you can quickly say that it was built primarily with the home users in mind. It prints at an amazing speed without compromising the quality of the result. In fact, graphics quality is a strong point of the printer which makes it an ideal equipment for any budding photographer or graphics designer. Although Epson claims the printer can produce a maximum of 34 pages per minute of black and color memos, there seems to be no printer that can actually fulfill that promise without experiencing dissatisfaction on the result, at least for an equipment that's under $100. The nice, shiny black case of the printer looks pretty; couple that with the intuitive, easy-to-navigate control panel and the 2.5 inches tilt LCD display. The color LCD screen lets you select, preview and edit your photos on memory cards or digital cameras even without turning on your computer. This is convenient if you're simply working on your photos and need to show them off to your friends and loved ones ASAP. If you have badly exposed and/or faded photos, you can use the auto photo correction and the photo restoration features to correct the lighting and to make faded colored photos back to their original brilliance. Set up procedure is fairly quick and easy. The NX400 measures 17.7 x 21.3 x 11.7 inches or approximately 15.2 pounds so the first thing you'd like to do is find a place to settle the printer. Plug in the printer, load the Epson Stylus NX400 ink cartridges and some paper, connect the USB cable and run the automated installation routine. The USB cable is not including in the packaging so you'll need to buy one separately or use the USB cable in your old printer. Another great thing about the printer is that the Epson Stylus NX400 ink cartridges use DuraBrite ink technology to deliver smudge, water and highlighter resistant documents and truly touchable photos with instant dry ink. These Epson ink are fully compatible with several Stylus CX series, NX series, C series, and WorkForce series printers. They're easy to install and are practically available in most online and offline retail outlets. Although the NX400 lacks office-centric features like fax modem, auto duplex printing, and automatic document feeder, it can perform really well in a wide range of projects, such as book reports, driving directions, recipes, birthday party invitations, calendars, PowerPoint presentation, and photos. It makes an ideal investment for students, amateur photographers, budget-conscious home users, and small office workgroups. "
