"When Epson released the Stylus NX300, it gave the consumers another reason to appreciate all-in-one printers. It is moderately priced considering that it allows you to print, copy, scan and fax while dealing with just one, compact device. The fax feature and the built-in Automatic Document Feeder in particular are not included in many of the earlier versions of Stylus printer models; therefore, to have them on the NX300 makes the printer a must-have for the small office environment. The fax speed is at 33.6 kbps and it allows you to save up to 60 numbers. The 30-page ADF gives you the advantage to scan, copy, print or fax without having to manually replace each page. These features are great in improving the productivity in your office in terms of handling and managing documents. When it comes to printing documents, Epson claims that the printer can produce a staggering 31 pages per minute of black text in draft mode on plain paper. Such speed is comparably fast but expect the engine to perform a little slower if you're printing more complex documents on a different printer setting. The NX300 also allows you to print borderless photos in sizes 3.5"" x 5"", 4"" x 6"", 5"" x 7"", 8"" x 10"", 8.5"" x 11"", and A4 - great for albums, scrapbooks or frames. As a copier, the NX300 does pretty much what a conventional copier do. It reduces and enlarges copies from 25% to 400%. You can also use the PC-free copy feature to duplicate documents in 8.5 x 11 inches copy. The printer has four individual ink tank system to make it easier for you to replace only the empty ink tank. The recommended Epson Stylus NX300 ink cartridges for the printer are Epson 69 T088120 Black, T069220 Cyan, T069320 Magenta and T069420 Yellow. They use DuraBrite inks to give your printed photos brilliant, lab-quality appearance. You can also use the auto photo correction feature of the printer to correct the lighting in poorly exposed digital images. Unfortunately, the NX300 does not have an LCD display, auto duplex printing, memory card slots, and PictBridge support which are all typically found in many all-in-one printers under the same price range. But even with these shortcomings, the Epson Stylus NX300 can produce decent results required for everyday printing, scanning, copying and faxing in the home or any small office. "
